Creamy Tomato Prawns Pasta
A delightful mix of tomatoes, cream, and juicy Prawns, this pasta dish is packed with flavor. It’s creamy, comforting, and quick to make, making it a perfect choice for dinner.
Ingredients:
- 300g pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 400g fresh Prawns (peeled and deveined)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Time:
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Cook time: 15 minutes
- Total time: 25 minutes
Method:
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Cook the Prawns: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat, cook Prawns for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, add garlic and tomatoes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until tomatoes soften. Add cream, stir, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add Cheese & Season: Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine: Toss in pasta and Prawns until coated with the sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
Tips: Try adding a pinch of crushed red pepper for a little heat.
